Time to raise the Yurt and welcome a new temple to Rootstock!
Steve Reed and his amazing crew will be here with a lift and all the wisdom and experience we need to make this magic happen but we are welcoming more hands on deck. We’d love to see the hill full of helping hands, beating hearts, potluck snacks, music and merry makers…
This is a profoundly big deal for this little imagination farm and we’d love to be wrapped in community for Monday and Tuesday if you’re free and can make it. Kids welcome but please leave your doggies at home.
If the yurt tasks are well-resourced, we’ll enjoy some help in the gardens and will have some joyful things to do together to prepare for this wonderful homecoming.
Feel welcome RSVP and let us know you’d like come help or just ‘drop in’ anytime on Monday or Tuesday between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Children are welcome and no skills or tools are necessary to participate! Folks of all ages and abilities are welcome.
If you’d like to help, please come dressed and equipped to do that. Good shoes, work clothes, gloves, water bottle, etc and bring any snacks or finger food that you want to enjoy or share. Please do not bring food that requires heating, cooking, or utensils.
Bring a water bottle and dress for the elements! Community Day happens rain or shine, snow or sleet. We recommend work gloves and some warm, dry layers if the temps are cold.
All people are welcome! Leave your doggies at home! The cats of Rootstock appreciate our dog-free campus so thank you for bringing your friends and your kids and leaving your four legged at home.
Depending on how things are flowing, we may also ask helpers on hand (assuming we have some) to fire up the bathhouse for a celebratory soak on Monday and Tuesday evening…
