Magical Gnome Homes & Fairy House Workshop

  • Rootstock Retreat 1429 Beach Hill Road West Glover United States (map)
Fairy House & Gnome Homes

Come celebrate the peak of summer and the enchanted forest on Beach Hill by making a magical gnome home or fanciful fairy house for your home or garden.

We will begin our day together with a grounding walk on the beautiful and magical lands at Rootstock and we will make an outdoor fairy village with found materials.

We’ll then break for a delicious, organic lunch from Rootstock’s Cosmic Egg Pizza Oven and fresh produce from the garden, herbal tea and some sweet fairy treat!

After lunch we will begin the construction of a fairy or gnome home that you will get to take home with you. Chris will bring a plethora of beautiful natural materials collected from her daily hikes and plenty of hot glue guns and expertise to help you craft the gnome home nightlight of your dreams. A self timed battery operated night light will be included so that the little home will be a beacon in the night for fairies and gnomes. This workshop is ideal for adults and children over 5. Kids 12 and younger will require adult supervision. Adults should be prepared to assist their youngsters with the hot glue guns.

Masks may be required during some of the activities and specific COVID protocol and preparation will be provided via an email confirmation to all registered participants. This workshop is ideal for children of all ages and kids 12 and younger will require adult supervision.

Limited to 10 participants (that includes any kiddos!)

West Glover, Vermont was chartered in 1783, though the Nulhegan Tribe, The Memphremagog Band, and the Northern Cowasuk Indians have lived here - N'DAKINNA (Our Land) - from time beyond memory.

Rootstock Retreat is an elemental healing sanctuary, community-supported bathhouse in the making and small creative refuge designed for healing, conscious connection and joy.

Participants will be welcome to make an adventure out of this workshop and book one of our off-grid cottages or a campsite, immerse in the healing waters of our wood-fired hot tub and linger longer. Check out our accommodations or get in touch with questions.
