Come enjoy an acoustic concert in Rootstock’s wood-fired bathhouse!
Since its inception, Beana has been imagining a tiny concert in the Oasis. Music and sound waves mingling with the sounds of the wood-fired bathhouse. Music medicine and elemental healing combined for our collective joy, beauty, and healing.
Well, it’s happening. An amazing duo from Austin is playing 2 shows here on Saturday, September 14th from 5-8pm and then again on Sunday morning, September 15th, from 11am-2pm. The shows will be acoustic and preformed in The Oasis, Rootstock’s wood-fired bathhouse and elemental healing sanctuary. Musical sets will be about 60min, providing time to picnic and settle in before music and some time after as well. Guests will bring a dish to share and a beautiful, candle lit picnic will nourish folks as they drink in the sounds and sensations of the evening.
Texan born artists, songwriters, and travelers, Kate Robberson and Emilie Basez are the foundation of Her Mana. Their collaboration on stage captivates audiences through a tender, playful, and powerful presence. Lyrics in English, Portuguese, and Spanish are woven into swirling textures of samba, soul, and folk music. Classical guitar, ukulele, and a variety of world percussion instruments accompany their vocal harmonies, transmuting an unwavering connection to each other, mother Earth, and humanity.
