Introducing Rootstock’s Ether Lab … online learning for off-line living.
Life on Earth in the 21st century is a complex paradox. We have more wealth, more free time, more access to information, and more opportunities than any of our ancestors in last 100 generations and yet we are more medicated, more disconnected, more confused and devoid of meaning than ever before. Pharmaceuticals have their limits and side effects. Transformational coaching programs can only take you so far. Therapy might help us maintain but not breakthrough, and the urgency to heal and find a path back to wholeness and meaning feels like the only priority.
Microdosing can help.
There’s a catch, though. This medicine is not a supplement. It’s not a vitamin. It’s not some lifeless miracle cure here to give you something. It is a sacrament. It has consciousness and it will only give you as much as you are willing to give to the experience. Simply popping a pill is the same colonizing, gluttonous, human behavior that has gotten us into this pickle and it is not the way out. After 25+ years as a psychonaut and ~5 as a medicine guide, we have listened to the mushroom teachers and learned how to work with them. Microdosing Earth Medicine: A Practice for Whole Living is a distilled and simple synthesis of that knowledge and it’s here to help you cultivate a meaningful relationship with your process, your healing, and your wholeness.
Here’s how it works:
One week of preparation informs you about the risks & benefits of microdosing, how to plan for the practice, how to source quality medicine, how to navigate dosage, set intentions and enter into this exercise resourced and ready to make the most of it.
Month 1 provides you with a protocol to meet the medicine and physically calibrate yourself to the experience. Daily intentions & reflections, weekly invitations, and steady tracking of your experience help you ‘hold the pose’ and stick with the process.
Month 2 sinks you deep into the energetic connection available to you with Earth Medicine. Without imbibing the medicine, you are still supported to work with it in both tangible and etheric ways. This homeopathic practice is deeply powerful and important to understand if you want to cultivate a lasting relationship with the medicine.
Month 3 empowers you to blend your experience from the first two months into an intuitive practice. Ultimately this medicine can help you bring yourself back into wholeness - a place of trusting your inner guidance and intuition, feeling your feelings - and this will be your opportunity to craft your own authentic practice with the medicine and freestyle.
One week of integration will complete the practice and support you to bring what you learned into your life in simple, authentic, and impactful ways. Integration is where the real healing and transformation happen and it’s essential to the process.
Daily practice, weekly reflections, invitations to go deeper and a steady log of your experience will bring you deeper into yourself, your rhythms, and your possibility. You will find yourself inside this simple journey with the help of the mushroom teachers, the Earth, and all beings. If you bring your heart to this, you will find it full by the journeys end.

about the course
This offering isn’t noisy or bloated. You’re not going to get lifetime access to hundreds of hours of content that you’ll never watch or spammed with emails for the rest of your life. It is simple, direct, and - if you’re willing to do the work - deeply life changing.
You will receive a spiral of emails (daily for the first week and weekly for three months following) that will guide you on this journey, from preparation through integration. Some emails will include videos that can take you deeper into the content, some will invite participation in the form of an activity or practice, some will simply offer you info to help you stay grounded in your practice and on the medicine path.
You will need to track your progress daily in a dedicated journal. YOU WILL NEED TO DO SOME WORK. Plan on 3-5 minutes every morning and 5-10 minutes every evening for the duration of the course. Journaling is a very important component of this and, if that’s not something you want to do, this might not be the best offering for you.
Participants are invited to book additional coaching sessions with Beana, if one-to-one support will help keep you accountable. Some folks book a session at the beginning and end while others book one monthly to process the experience, ask questions, and stay on track. It’s not necessary but it’s an option.

The Mushroom Teachers will also serve as your guides, your friends, and your compass on this journey. They are deeply wise, deeply generous allies and can bring you deep down into the Underworld - under your preconceived notions, under your conditioning, under your masks and unconscious behavior - if you welcome their medicine and insight. Mushrooms are often tricksters and rarely will they deliver the message in a format that we expect or desire. The more open your heart and mind are to their insight, the deeper you’ll be able to go.
