When is the last time you kept a fire burning for 100 hours?

The 5th Annual Transformation Fire is an annual tradition at Rootstock where we keep a fire burning for 100 hours while offering gratitude to this incredible hill, honoring our seasons of growth, co-creating a sacred container together, paying tribute to our ancestors and the people that gathered here this year, and sowing dream seeds for the year ahead.

The 100 Hour fire is a safe, sober, container to reweave ourselves back into the sacred, back into the cycles of nature, and back into ourselves for the long winter ahead and you’re invited.

From October 28 – November 1st, a fire is kept burning at the Dragon Rock for 100 hours.  The tenders for this years fire are already designated and, in the space between evening fire ceremonies, we enjoy shared community meals, work service, quiet time, healing offerings from participants, and sweet, sacred time together.

RSVP is required to keep the gatherings intimate.

RECIPROCITY

The Transformation Fire is a devotional offering to the hill and all donations support the food and firewood needed to share this space with any profit going into the Rootstock Medicine Fund.  In the spirit of reciprocity, guests are invited to bring offerings for the altar, the fire, the hill, or the community gathered.  Musical instruments, poetry, songs, meditations, and other offerings are most welcome.

All attendees should expect to participate in dishes, cleanup, and other support as needed. Participants are encouraged to bring food to share for potluck meals as well as offerings in the form of beeswax candles, fair trade chocolate, or winter squash.
